I am interested in playing with the idea that something is happening under the exhibition space, extending the room to another dimension, the underneath. I believe each element possesses its own pulse, and they could be awakened through movement and time. In this case the clay transformed into different shapes resemble organic matter. It could suggest a crime scene, or perhaps that the house itself, through abandonment, is becoming alive. One question thus emerges: what happened there before and what is currently unfolding?

Beneath the floorboards, something moves. In the corner, fragments of furniture refuse to become whole. A canvas slowly leaks into form through the memory held in a body. Sound is pressed into drawing, and a game of chess leaves its impression behind long after the players have gone. A shower diffuses perfume where water once ran, cleansing becomes a kind of haunting.
